本标准于2001年首次发布。本标准参考了ASTM D 1079-2007《屋面与防水术语》，ASTM D8-2002《公路与路面材料术语》、EN 13707：2004《柔性防水卷材—屋面防水用增强沥青卷材—定义和要求》、EN 13956：2005《柔性防水卷材—屋面防水用塑料和橡胶卷材—定义和要求》。
本标准代替GB/T 18378-2001《防水沥青与防水卷材术语》。
本标准规定了防水沥青与防水卷材的通用术语及定义。
本标准与GB/T 18378-2001的主要区别是：
——本标准删除了“石棉纸油毡、麻布油毡、矿棉纸油毡、带楞油毡、石棉纸、屋面材料”6个词目；
——增加了29个词目；
——对34个词目的释义进行了更动或重新编辑；
——按类别对词序归类重排；
——增加了参考文献（本版的参考文献）；

【摘要】:Thesetestmethodsprovideameansofdeterminingthecompatibilityofaresin(orvehicle),atlowconcentrations,inahighboilinginksolvent.Resin-solventmixturesthatexhibitahighprecipitationtemperaturearelesscompatiblethanthoseexhibitingalowprecipitationtemperature.Resin-solventmixturesthatexhibitprecipitationtemperaturesatorclosetothecloudpointofthepuresolventareconsideredinfinitelycompatibleortheresinisinfinitelysolubleinthatsolvent.1.1Thesetestmethodscoverthemanualandautomaticproceduresfortestingthecompatibilityoflithographicinkresinsinhighboilinginksolventsbyprecipitationtemperature(cloudpoint)inarangefrom35to210x00B0;C.1.2Themanualprocedureinthistestmethoduseslaboratoryequipmentgenerallyavailableinanormal,well-equippedlaboratory.TheautomatedprocedureusestheChemotronicCloudpointTester.1.3Thistestmethodisforusewithinkresinsintendedmainlyforoil-basedoffsetandletterpressinks.Thetypeofresinsaretypically,butnotlimitedtoC9aromatichydrocarbonresins,modifieddicyclopentadieneresins,rosinpentaerythritolorglycerolesters,phenolicmodifiedrosinesters,maleicanhydridemodified-rosinesters,andnaturallyoccurringresinssuchasgilsonite.1.4Aresinsolutionorinkvehiclecouldalsobeusedinthistestinsteadoftheresin.1.5ThetypicalhighboilingsolventstobeusedareC12toC16petroleumdistillates.1.6Toavoidfireorinjury,orboth,totheoperator,thistestmethodshouldnotbeusedwithlowflashpointsolventssuchastolueneorxylene.Theminimumflashpointofthesolventsusedshouldbe60x00B0;C(140x00B0;F)asdeterminedbyTestMethodD56.Note18212;Usersofthistestmethodshouldbeawarethattheflashpointofmanysolventsusedforthistest(asdefinedinTestMethodsD56andD1310)isexceededintheheatingcycleofthistestmethod.Safetyprecautionsshouldbetakensincethereisthepotentialforvaporignition.Themethodoutlinedshouldbedoneinashieldedexhausthood,wherethereisaccesstoafireextinguisherifneeded.1.7ThevaluesstatedinSIunitsaretoberegardedasthestandard.Thevaluesgiveninparenthesesareforinformationonly.1.8Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
