【摘要】:Theserequirementscoverhoseinsizesuptoandincludinganominalinternaldiameterof4in(102mm)forconductingliquefiedpetroleumgasintendedtobeinstalledinclosedsystemsincompliancewiththeStandardoftheNationalFireProtectionAssociationfortheStorageandHandlingofLiquefiedPetroleumGases,NFPA58.Thehoseismadeforamaximumworkingpressureof350poundspersquareinchgauge(psig)(2400kPa).Hoseinsizeslargerthan2in(50.8mm)isnotintendedforuseonreels.Hosescoveredbythisstandardareintendedforuseattemperatureswithintherangeofminus40?C(minus40?F)toplus60?C(140?F),orminus54?C(minus65?F)toplus60?C.Thisstandarddoesnotapplyto:a)Couplingsnortheirmethodofattachment;b)Gasapplianceconnectorsforhandlingfuelgasesat5psig(34.5kPa)orless,nortometallichoseintendedforuseinoiltransportationpiping,inpetroleumrefinerypiping,oringastransmissionanddistributionpipingsystems;orc)Hoseintendedforuseinautomotiveapplicationsorhoseintendedforuseinconfinedareas.HoseforuseinautomotiveapplicationsisinvestigatedundertheOutlineofInvestigationforLP-GasFuelHoseandHoseAssembliesforVehicleEngines,Subject1785.
