【摘要】:ThispartofthisBritishStandardspecifiesthepracticestobefollowedintheapplicationandinstallationofthermoplasticspipesandassociatedfittingswhichfallwithinthescopeofBS7291:2001andareusedforthedistributionofhotandcoldwater,includingdrinkingwater,andheatingsystemswithinbuildings.Guidanceisalsogivenonacceptablemethodsofjointingpolybutylene(PB)andcrosslinkedpolyethylene(PE-X)pipesandassociatedfittings,togetherwithrecommendationsontheirstorage,handlingandtransportation.Whilstitisrecognizedthatinthemajorityofinstallationstherewillbecombinationofplasticsandmetalliccomponents,guidanceisonlygivenforthosepartsoftheinstallationwherethermoplasticspipesand/orassociatedfittingsareutilized,exceptwhereatransitionoccursbetweenplasticsandmetalliccomponents.
